When using TD-ROM on volumes that have been

spanned (either across drives or on the multi-

segmented on the same drive), TD-ROM may be slower

than normal accessing files.

Spanned files are widely fragmented across the tape and

require a great deal of tape positioning to retrieve the data.

Modifying TD-ROM to use additional memory may

provide some relief (See Chapter 2 and/or 3 to configure

TD-ROM).

Windows Console Message, NetWare Server

“Can’t initialize IPX/SPX”

Console uses the following dynamic link libraries.

NWCALLS.DLL

NWIPXSPX.DLL

NWLOCALE.DLL

Correct versions of these libraries are installed with

SnapBack. Other software packages may overwrite these

with earlier versions. To correct the problem, copy these

files from C:\SBCLIENT\WINSYS into

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM.

Windows Console Message

“Connect request was refused”

The system may have older network communication

drivers. Upgrade the following NLM files.
