Installation Guide

The Adaptec Fibre Card 9210LP optical interface requires the

installation of a Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) module for

the external connector interface before connecting the external

Fibre Channel cables. For more information about the SFP, see

the Adaptec Fibre Card 9210LP User’s Reference.

Install the SFP into the receptacle on the adapter.

Make sure the SFP fits securely into the receptacle.

You can only install the SFP one way, as the SFP and

guide rails inside the adapter receptacle are keyed.
