o First channel release of Adaptec RAID 8805/8885/8885Q/81605ZQ

SAS/SATA RAID controllers. Key features include:

• 8-16 ports, 12 Gb/s I/O

• Up to 4 internal mini-SAS HD connectors, 2 external mini-SAS HD connectors

• SAS 2.1, PCIe 3.0

• Low-profile MD2 card size

• Integrated AFM-700 flash backup module (ASR-81605ZQ only)

o Support for Adaptec maxCache Plus caching and tiering software

on Adaptec Series 8Q/8ZQ controllers. See Section 3.11 for more.
