diagnostic moderation set timer

To set the default interrupt timer on the controller, use the

diagnostic moderation set timer command.

Caution: Use this command only under the direction of

technical support.

Syntax

diagnostic moderation set timer {integer}

Parameters

{integer}

Specifies the value (for example, 10) you want to set as the

default interrupt timer on the controller. The interrupt timer

is the delay time in 100 microsecond units before the

controller issues an interrupt to the host computer. For

example if the interrupt timer is set to 10, the controller

batches I/O request responses for one millisecond and issues

an interrupt to the host computer.

The default interrupt timer is 0 (zero).
