Wall mounting

the SIERRA™ plus film digitizer

In brief, to mount the SIERRA™ plus film digitizer you will:



Select appropriate wall space for the digitizer and determine the best

height.



Attach the mounting bracket to the wall.



Install the digitizer on the mounting bracket.



Attach SCSI and power cables.



Install the exit tray.

Details are provided in this chapter.

Before you start...

Be sure you have already set the SCSI ID and SCSI termination

switches (see previous chapter). It’s easier to see and set these switches

before the digitizer is attached to the mounting bracket.

WARNING

Only a qualified building maintenance technician can attach the

mounting bracket to a wall (step 3 in this chapter).

Wall mounting of the digitizer must meet all applicable building

codes.
